• Child's information: first name, age, gender, and optional photo uploaded by the parent or guardian.
• Parent's information: full name, email address, and phone number provided during checkout.
• Payment information: processed entirely by Stripe. We never store card numbers or financial data.
• Usage data: pages visited, browser type, and device information collected via standard analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To generate and deliver the personalized PDF story to the email provided.
• To create the child's avatar using the uploaded photo (processed by fal.ai).
• To send order confirmation and delivery emails via Resend.
• To improve our service and troubleshoot technical issues.

4. Children's Privacy

We are committed to protecting children's privacy. All information about a child is provided by and collected from a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. The child's photo, if uploaded, is used solely to generate the story avatar and is not shared with third parties beyond our image generation provider (fal.ai) for that sole purpose.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only with the service providers necessary to operate our service:

• Stripe — payment processing
• fal.ai — avatar image generation
• Anthropic (Claude API) — story text generation
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Cloudinary — image storage
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure

6. Data Retention

Order data is retained for up to 12 months for customer support purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting contact@magicstorycode.com.
